Abbreviations: OA; osteoarthritis, BP, bodily pain; PF, physical function; SF, social function; RF, role limitations because of physical problems; RE, role limitations because of emotional problems; MH, mental health; VT, vitality; GH, general health perception; ADL, Activities of daily living; QoL, Quality of life. In bold: convergente correlations that should be ≥ 0.60, In Italic: divergente correlations that should be ≤ 0.30. All other hypotheses are expected to be between 0.30 and 0.60. Correlations marked by * have to be 0.05 higher than the other convergent correlations.
